Dr. Hayes was born and raised in Evergreen Park, Illinois and had always been surrounded by many fur covered family members and aspired to be a veterinarian since he was young. Dr. Hayes finally had a chance to experience the reality of veterinary medicine at LePar Animal Hospital in 2012, starting as a kennel attendant while in high school. The time spent there helped reaffirm his interest in veterinary medicine and convinced Dr. Hayes to pursue it further.
Dr. Hayes went on to graduate from Augustana College in 2020 with a B.A in Biology and Neuroscience. He also attended Veterinary school at Lincoln Memorial University as a phi zeta while graduating with honors in 2024. He also came back with man’s best friend, a treeing walker coonhound named Jethro.
Dr. Hayes professional interests include soft tissue surgery and Ultrasonography and his current hobbies are exercising and weightlifting, He hopes to start exploring more hobbies shortly. He has been working on traveling more and visiting all the major national parks in the United States.
